There a various forms of sieving, the simplest and most used is check sieving. This is where a product is passed through a mesh to give 2 fractions - oversize & fines. This is commonly used by food producers for sieving dry ingredients into a mix to check there are no contaminants. There are many forms to this system from mobile small batch units to inline low profile machines or sack / bag dispensing stations with dusthoods & extraction systems to protect the operator from harmful airborne dust.
Product sieving is now an essential requirement in nearly all industries. To obtain a quality-controlled end product not only requires diligent ingredient choice but careful handling and processing. Removal of any substandard or unwanted matter is therefore a prime requirement. Below are a selection of sieves from our range that are most commonly used for this operation with brief description and link to the machines info page.
