What does it do?
Deblinding of very fine screening applications from 500micron to 20 micron. The system is made and developed in Switzerland and is the cutting edge of ultrasonic technology. Farleygreene are the sole UK supplier of this system
How does it do it?
Our ultrasonic frequency variation excitation technology is a brand new system compared to existing manufacturers resonance excitation. Whilst their system requires a ring to be returned to them to be tuned to a specific mesh size our system tunes itself digitally. It provides for high frequency ultrasonic waves from 30 - 40 khz, whereas older systems only operate at 36khz. The 36khz type are renowned for causing fatigue to the mesh rings as well as the woven mesh itself, which is very expensive as the ring must be retruned to the manufacturer for remeshing. The AGS and DGS type systems we use operate at low temperature and the u/s converter is outside of the internal product contact area of the sieve. We offer 2 types; an AGS analogue system for sieves upto 600mm diameter or the DGS digital system for sieves 600mm - 2500mm diameter. The the DGS system can run up to 3 converters from one single generator box allo wing control to either 3 screens on one machine or 1 screen on 3 machines. This is can also be controlled via the ‘Sieveparam’ windows based software package or basic controls on the DGS control box.
How does it help you?
Provides you with improved throughput of difficult materials. Tests have proved that it can increased some powders throughputs by 1000% and can offer a 30 - 40% improvement on exisitng ultrasonic systems
What else can it do?
You can clean your mesh screens in water with the cleaning disc attachment. It can be fitted to our Segregator range of rectangular screeners and can be used to assist in deblinding our mesh basket in our rotary sifters, something not possible anywhere in the world until now.
