From Sieving to Seedlings: How Your Orders Help the Planet

02nd December, 2025

Partnering for the planet: Every order of Farleygreene industrial sieving equipment contributes to global tree planting efforts, advancing our shared commitment to a greener future.

Turning Sieving into Sustainability

At Farleygreene, we’re committed to continually evolving our manufacturing practices, and one way we do this is by reducing our environmental impact. This is why we’ve partnered with More Trees – a transparent, global reforestation initiative that makes climate action simple, trackable and community-focused.

For every order – whether a spare component for an existing machine or an entire sieving production line – we want to give back. A percentage of each order goes directly toward planting trees, and we fund additional tree planting whenever we receive customer feedback.

Together, these contributions support global reforestation, community livelihoods, and a lasting, meaningful environmental impact.

Your Impact So Far

We’re not just planting; we’re measuring success! Since starting this partnership at the end of September, our participation has already resulted in the saving of:

 ~ Around 25 tonnes of CO₂ ~

That’s the equivalent of eliminating the emissions of a standard car driving 4-5 times around the entire world, and that’s all been achieved in as little as 2 months!

The Power of Partnership: Behind the More Trees Impact

The More Trees Initiative is part of a transparent, global movement focused on making climate action simple and scalable. They partner with established organisations, who collaborate directly with local communities worldwide to restore healthy forests and reduce poverty.

Companies who support the more trees initiative enable them to contribute to a massive, successful reforestation effort that has already planted over 7,000,000 trees globally.

What our contribution can help support:

A percentage of all orders from Farleygreene supports this crucial work, contributing to carbon sequestration and social benefits around the globe.

From Order to Impact: How Trees Get Planted

By partnering with the More Trees Initiative, we will convert a percentage of our quarterly orders directly into trees, which we plant on your behalf.

By choosing a Farleygreene sieve, you naturally become a part of our broader environmental effort.

? FAQs – Your Questions Answered

1. Why did Farleygreene choose to partner with More Trees?
More Trees works with vetted global partners who plant trees in areas where they create the greatest environmental and social benefit. Their model supports reforestation, protects biodiversity, reduces poverty through fair employment, and ensures every tree contributes to long-term CO₂ sequestration.

2. How do I know that More Trees Initiative is planting the trees?
More Trees provides verifiable planting data through reputable partners such as Veritree, Forest Focus, Arbor Day Foundation and Time4Trees, which have all been recognised with their own accreditations. We’ll also send you a planting certificate following any customer feedback you leave.

3. In which locations does More Trees Initiative plant the trees?
Projects span multiple continents, including Africa, Asia and South America. The exact location depends on where trees are needed most – from mangrove restoration in Madagascar to community-led agroforestry in Nepal and urban canopy regeneration in the UK.

4. How many trees does the initiative plant from my order?
We plant a percentage of trees for every order of Farleygreene industrial sieving equipment. The number varies each quarter, but all contributions flow directly into verified global reforestation projects through More Trees. Additional trees are planted every time you provide operational feedback.

5. Which types of trees does More Trees Initiative plant?
Tree species vary by region and project. More Trees and their partners prioritise native, climate-appropriate species that support biodiversity, resilient ecosystems, soil health and long-term survival. This ensures every tree contributes meaningful carbon capture and habitat restoration.

6. How does this initiative benefit the communities involved?
Tree planting provides stable employment, supports agroforestry (allowing communities to grow food and income crops alongside trees), restores degraded land, protects water sources and improves long-term resilience. These are core principles of More Trees’ mission.

7. Does this initiative apply to spares and components?
Yes. All Farleygreene purchases contribute, from full rotary sieves to smaller components like industrial sieve toggle clamps or our BOSC and DOSC upgrades. Every order contributes to this initiative.

8. Can I track how much CO₂ my orders help save?
We track cumulative CO₂ reduction through verified sequestration data provided by More Trees. Our current figure, around 25 tonnes of CO₂ saved since the end of September, represents the total lifetime carbon capture of trees planted since the initiative began. You can find the widget on the homepage of our website, telling you how many trees we’ve planted.
